CCE's Design Link team heads to the Town of Biscoe in Montgomery Co. on May 2-3 to conduct a community design workshop to help invigorate town planning, adaptive reuse and sustainable design in this iconic small town in the Piedmont Triad.  After successful workshops in High Point, Elkin and Mayodan since December 2012,  anticipation is high for the innovative work the team brings to the community.

Industry and Education leaders have called for the dynamic work begun under the Creative Enterprises initiative at Piedmont Triad Partnership to continue and foster growth in the creative industries. Historically, the creative economy added 600 jobs a year in the Triad region. At the average salary of $37,288, that’s over 22 million dollars in earnings per year. The programs of the Center for Creative Economy are designed to support this trend and the mission remains to catalyze and develop creative industries in the Triad and the state of North Carolina.

A primary goal for the creative economy initiative is to connect innovators and creatives directly with business. Join our Creatini events, and learn how you can get involved with the creative economy in the Triad.
